These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website — serviceplushc.com — and all services, products, consultations, maintenance plans, and related offerings provided by Service Plus.

1. Scope of Services

Service Plus provides commercial and residential HVAC installation, repair, maintenance, and indoor air quality services. Specific service scopes, pricing, and terms are outlined in quotes, proposals, estimates, and service agreements provided at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time.

2. Website Use

You may use our website for informational and service-request purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Misuse or disrupt the website or its servers
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute website content without permission
  • Use the website for fraudulent, misleading, or harmful purposes

Any violation may result in termination of access.

3. Estimates, Quotes & Proposals

All estimates and proposals provided by Service Plus:

  • Are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise
  • Are subject to availability of equipment and materials
  • May require adjustment if site conditions differ from initial information
  • Must be approved via signature or digital acceptance to become binding

Service Plus is not responsible for delays caused by supply shortages, permitting, weather, or third-party vendors.

4. Scheduling & Appointments

Service appointments are scheduled based on technician availability. While we aim to meet requested times, delays may occur due to weather, emergencies, or job overruns.

Maintenance members may receive priority scheduling as described in their plan.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms vary by service type:

5.1 Residential Services

  • Payment is due upon completion unless financing is arranged.
  • Accepted forms: ACH, credit card, debit card, cash (limited), or approved financing partners.

5.2 Commercial Services

  • Payment terms are outlined in the signed service agreement or proposal.
  • Late payments may incur fees as specified in the invoice or contract.
  • Service may be paused for overdue accounts.

5.3 Financing

Financing is offered through third-party lenders. Approval is not guaranteed. Financing terms are governed solely by the lender’s agreement.

6. Maintenance Plans (PMAs)

Maintenance plans include services stated in the selected tier (Economy, Standard, Performance, Premium).

Service Plus reserves the right to:

  • Adjust pricing annually with notice
  • Deny or cancel plans due to unsafe equipment conditions
  • Decline emergency service for non-members

Maintenance plans are non-transferable and non-refundable unless otherwise permitted by law.

7. Warranty Terms

Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer, plan type, and job type.

Service Plus provides:

  • Manufacturer parts warranties (length varies by brand)
  • Workmanship warranty when stated in the proposal
  • Extended warranties when included in PMAs or specified packages

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs, or environmental hazards
  • Pre-existing system issues
  • Consequential damages (e.g., water leaks, property damage, downtime)

Full warranty details are included in the final proposal or service agreement.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations for scheduled service must be made 24 hours in advance.

Refunds are provided only when:

  • Required under Illinois consumer laws
  • A duplicate charge or billing error occurred
  • A service was paid for but not rendered

Custom-ordered equipment may be subject to manufacturer restocking fees.

9. Project Completion & Change Orders

For installation or construction-related projects:

  • All work is completed per the signed proposal
  • Changes in scope, materials, or design require a written Change Order
  • Additional costs will be communicated and approved before work continues

Service Plus is not responsible for delays caused by permitting, inspections, equipment shortages, or third-party vendors.

10. Service Limitations

Service Plus is not liable for:

  • Third-party equipment failures
  • Damages from system misuse or neglect
  • Issues arising from customer-supplied equipment
  • Delays caused by weather, utility companies, manufacturers, or unforeseen site conditions

Emergency service availability may vary by region and membership tier.

11. Content Ownership

All content on serviceplushc.com—including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and documents—is the property of Service Plus or its licensors.

You may not copy, distribute, or modify content without written permission.

12. Third-Party Links & Tools

Our website may include links to third-party websites, tools, or portals such as:

  • ServiceTitan customer portal
  • Financing partner portals
  • Manufacturer websites

Service Plus is not responsible for the practices, content, or security of these external sites.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Service Plus is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question
  • Service Plus is not responsible for data loss, business interruption, or system downtime

Some states do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, only permitted limitations apply.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Service Plus harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

  • Misuse of the website
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Unauthorized modifications to provided equipment or systems

15. Privacy

Personal information submitted through forms or portals is governed by our Privacy Policy.
